For purposes of this policy, <br />employees includes all individuals who are hired, <br />elected, appointed, or contracted to provide services <br />to the City. <br /> <br />10.0 Authority, Amendments, and Revisions of the By-Laws <br /> <br />10.1 <br /> <br />These By-Laws are intended to be compatible with the <br />Ordinances of the City of Elk River. If any provision <br />herein is in conRict with the City ordinance 206.00, the <br />Ordinance will have precedence. <br /> <br />10.2 <br /> <br />The By-Laws and Duties and Details shall be reviewed <br />periodically by a committee appointed by the Chief. <br />Amendments to the By-Laws may be proposed by any <br />member at a regular meeting. Voting on that amendment <br />shall occur at the following meeting. West, Fire Chief <br /> <br />Al.0 <br /> <br />DUTIES AND DETAILS <br /> <br />Duties and Details define the individual responsibility of members of <br />the Elk River Volunteer Fire Department. It is intended that these <br />rules assure that work within the department be fairly and equally <br />shared by all members. The Duties and Detsils should be <br />continuously evolved to provide for the needs of the Department. <br /> <br />Membership Responsibilities <br /> <br />Every member shall attend at least four scheduled meetings and <br />four scheduled drills in each half of the calendar year. Should a <br />member miss more than two scheduled meetings or scheduled <br />drills in one half a year, the member shall attend enough <br />meetings within the next half of the year to meet the minimum <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br /> <br />
