Economic Development Authority Minutes <br />December 15, 2014 <br />Page 3 <br />Moved by Commissioner Provo and seconded by Commissioner Burandt to <br />install a temporary sign in the Nature's Edge Business Center and wait on the <br />permanent sign until right -of -ways and businesses are established and for <br />continuity to be maintained between business park signs. Motion carried 7 -0. <br />6.4 Intern Experience Update <br />Mr. Barnhart stated this would be Ms. Nissen's last meeting. He indicated it has <br />been a pleasure working with her and she has accomplished many tasks. <br />Ms. Nissen thanked the EDA for the opportunity to work for city. She provided an <br />update on her Manufacturing Week project. <br />7.1 Accept Resignation of Cliff Lundberg from EDA Finance Committee <br />Mr. Barnhart presented the staff report. He stated no action is necessary. <br />Consensus of the EDA was to send a letter to Mr. Lundberg thanking him for his <br />service on the Finance Commitee. <br />7.2 Hire Economic Development Director — verbal <br />Mr. Barnhart provided an update on the process for the new economic development <br />director. He stated the recommendation is to hire Miles Seppelt. He indicated if <br />accepted by the City Council, Mr. Seppelt will begin employment January 5, 2015. <br />President Tveite expressed his appreciation to Commissioners Morin and Wilson for <br />their service on the EDA. <br />8.
