City <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />Item # 3.7 <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />Michele McPherson, Director of Planning <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />December 17, 2001 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Approve of Certificate of Correction - Elk River Crossing <br /> 2nd Addition Request <br /> <br />Schoell and Madsen request that the City Council approve a Surveyor's Certificate of <br />Correction for Elk River Crossing 2nd Addition. <br /> <br />Attachment <br /> <br /> Location Map <br />[] Certificate of Correction <br /> Plat Drawing <br /> <br />Analysis <br /> <br />The surveyor who prepared the plat of Elk River Crossing 2nd Addition made an error in the <br />dimensional width of the easements along the common property line between Lots I and 2 <br />of the plat. A Certificate of Correction will correct the dimensional width of the easements <br />on the plat and provide the easements as required by City ordinance. No lot lines are being <br />adjusted, therefore, no public hearing is required and the Council can approve the Certificate <br />of Correction by consent. <br /> <br />The City Engineer has reviewed and approved the Certificate of Correction as presented. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve the Certificate of Correction and authorize <br />the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the Certificate. <br /> <br />S:\PLANNING\MICHMC\CCREPRTS\ERCrossing2correct .doc <br /> <br /> <br />
