A RESOLUTION <br />OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION <br /> AUTHORIZING AND PLEDGING SUPPORT <br />FOR VOTING EQUIPMENT GRANT APPLICATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Clerk Sandra Peine is authorized to submit an application for a voting <br /> equipment grant on behalf of the City of Elk River; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this application must be completed in accordance with Minnesota Statutes <br />204B. 48, and submitted in accordance with the instructions provided by the <br />Secretary of State and the Department of Administration. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Elk <br /> River pledges to act appropriate and expend funds in an amount sufficient to <br /> match any grant awarded as a result of this application and in a timely <br /> manner to implement the election administrator training and voter education <br /> schedule set forth in the application. <br /> <br />ADOPTED, THIS DAY OF DECEMBER, 2001. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Stephanie Klinzing, Mayor <br /> <br />Sandra A.
