To <br />ensure your event is a success, here are a few key <br />points to consider when placing signs: <br />• Signs may only be placed on private property <br />and not in what is considered the public right <br />of way. Generally speaking, the right -of -way is <br />approximately 10' from the curb line as shown in <br />the picture to the right. <br />• Signs may not be affixed to trees, utility poles, <br />public benches, or streetlights. <br />• Signs may not block motorist or pedestrian sight <br />lines. <br />t <br />���^y�:�, <br />fy N <br />Legend <br />F <br />pty Prapar�y <br />z7ht cl WCy <br />® o are;,�r <br />■ Signs may not have flashing and /or revolving beacon lights. <br />• Signs need to be retrieved after an event is concluded. <br />• Signs must be four square feet or less. <br />Signs which are illegally placed are subject to removal <br />and disposal. Signs that are removed by city staff are <br />brought to the Maintenance Facility (19000 Proctor <br />Road) where they can be retrieved during normal <br />business hours (the exception being signs that may be <br />removed by the county and /or state). <br />k <br />
