PROJECT SCHEDULE In order for each project to be successful, adequate time needs to be allowed for public involvement in the process. To allow sufficient time for public informational meetings and individual feedback on design concerns, it is proposed that a construction project be authorized every other year. A tentative schedule for a typical construction project, as provided in Table 1, is based upon guidelines established in Minnesota State Statues, Chapter 429, Local Improvements, Special Assessments. These dates will be revised as a project develops. Table 1. This is earlier than the typical project schedule provided in Table I and would allow for adequate time for City staff and Council to become familiar with the process. -13-
