Thc interview committee consisted of thc City <br />Director of Economic Development, Director of Planning and Payroll Clerk. <br /> <br />The interview committee recommends hiring Heidi Hall as the Economic Development Assistant. <br />Ms. HaH has accepted, upon Council approval, a starring salary of $30,000. It has been negotiated <br />that upon Ms. Hall's completion of thc National Development Council Economic Development <br />Finance Certification that she will be qualified to receive a 10% increase in salary. The NDC <br />program will provide Ms. Hall the necessary financial skills for the position including business credit <br />analysis, real estate finance, and the art of deal structuring. Staff anticipates Ms. Hall's completion of <br />the certification program in January/February 2003. <br /> <br />Ms. Hall is prepared to start in the position on Monday, December 17, 2001. <br /> <br />Requested Action <br />Staff recommends consideration of hiring Heidi Hall as the Economic Development Assistant per <br />the generally accepted offer. <br /> <br />S:~EI) A~EDADMIN\Councilrcc.
