Snowmobile Trail Implementation Plan <br /> <br />City's Responsibilities: <br /> <br />2. <br />3. <br />4. <br />5. <br />6. <br />7. <br />8. <br />9. <br /> <br />Provide wood chips for paved trail intersections. <br />Keep snow on paved trails identified for snowmobile usage. <br />Do not plow railroad grade south of County Road 1. <br />Leave four feet of snow on either side of Highland Road for snowmobile travel. <br />Provide snow fencing and T-posts for key paved trail entrances for closure. <br />Provide limited signage for key paved trail entrances (open/closed). <br />Amend and distribute the snowmobile trail map. <br />Distribute and enforce the ordinance. <br />Remove wood chips at paved trail intersections at end of season. <br /> <br />River City Snow Riders Responsibilities: <br /> <br />° <br /> <br />Install wood chips at paved trail intersections. <br />Communicate with City staff (Public Works, Planning, Police), when trails need <br />additional snow, or are closed. <br />Close and open trails as needed. <br />Educate the members regarding the ordinance. <br />Inspect paved trails in spring for stud damage. <br /> <br />Trails will open December 1, 2001 and will remain open, conditions permitting, through April 15, <br />2002. <br /> <br /> <br />
