MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />Item # <br /> <br />5.4. <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />Mayor and City C o~t~.~ <br /> <br />Michele McPhersorl~Oirector of Planning <br /> <br />November 19, 200 I <br /> <br />November Park and Recreation Commission Update <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />· Snowmobile Implementation Plan <br />· Snowmobile Trail Map <br /> Appraisal Statement, LaFavor Property <br />· Land Appraisal Report, LaFavor Property <br /> Detailed List, Furniture, Fixture and Equipment, Lions Park Center <br />· Floor Plan, Wiring Locations, Lions Park Center <br /> <br />As the year winds down, the Park and Recreation Commission agendas are becoming lighter. <br />The November Park and Recreation Commission agenda included consideration of the <br />revised snowmobile trail map, a neighborhood discussion regarding the trails in Oak <br />Savannah Park, and consideration of two subdivisions for park dedication purposes. <br /> <br />Also as part of this Commission update, the Council will be asked to consider the appraisal <br />for the LaFavor land in the northeast corner of the City, and also to consider the <br />expenditures for the furniture, fixtures, equipment, and wiring for Lions Park Center. <br /> <br />Approve Snowmobile Trail Map and Implementation Plan <br /> <br />Attached for Council consideration is the revised cross-city snowmobile trail map and <br />implementation plan that has been agreed to by the River City Snow Riders snowmobile <br />club, the Park and Recreation Commission, and staff. At its November meeting, the <br />Commission voted unanimously to recommend that the City Council adopt both the map <br />and the implementation plan for the 2001-2002 snowmobiling season.
