For the Farmers Market Area, two mixed-use alternatives were developed to respond to initiatives happening west ofi-94. Along Glenwood Ave., designer services are expanding near International Market Square, and along Olson Hwy, the Near Northside project will bring new residential and mixed-use commercial. Activity would focus commercial/retail mixed-use along Glenwood and industrial/ commercial along Olson Hwy. An expanded Farmers Market was included at the furore Royalston LRT stop. Next Steps The project team will be refming the concepts presented at the workshop, preparing design guidelines, and developing implementation strategies.
