CITY OF ELK RIVER <br />20 IS COMPENSATION PLAN <br />FOR NON- ORGANIZED EMPLOYEES <br />PAY <br />Pay Ranges <br />All current pay ranges of the approved City Pay Plan shall increase two percent (2 %) <br />effective the first pay period of January 2015 which begins on December 28, 2014. <br />2. Waste Water Treatment Operators shall be paid as follows: <br />License <br />Step <br />- <br />A <br />D <br />B <br />C <br />C -D <br />B <br />E <br />With satisfactory performance and once a license has been obtained, the employee <br />shall immediately move to the lowest step for that license. The employee may move <br />up one step each July 1 until the highest step for that license has been reached. <br />Step Increases <br />Effective the first pay period of July 2015, which begins June 28, 2015, all full -time <br />and eligible part -time employees receiving a satisfactory rating on their performance <br />review will move up one step in their pay range. <br />All orientation period employees will receive increases as stated in their employment <br />letter. If no special provision was outlined in the employment letter, the employee <br />shall receive the first step increase on July 1 following six months of employment. <br />Part -Time Pay <br />4. Paid On -Call Firefighters shall be paid in accordance with the following schedule: <br />Position <br />Hourly Rate <br />Probationary Firefighter <br />$ 8.00 <br />Firefighter <br />$12.95 <br />Lieutenant <br />$13.45 <br />Captain <br />$13.95 <br />District Chief <br />$14.45 <br />Assistant Chief <br />$1495 <br />Additional Educational Incentive Pay shall be paid as approved by the City Council <br />on October 27, 1997. <br />Effective On August 1, 2015, the hourly rate for a Probationary Firefighter will <br />increase to $9.00 per hour due to the increase in Minnesota's minimum wage rate. <br />
