Before filling each <br /> vacancy, job descriptions are thoroughly reviewed and updated to ensure the essential job functions, <br /> required skills, abilities and knowledge, and minimum and preferred qualifications are consistent with the <br /> needs of the position. <br /> Before the recruitment of the Parks and Recreation Director,the City Council requested to have a more <br /> active role in the final review of finalists.
