(3)Roofing standards. Roofing shall consist of a shingled, prefinished metal panel <br /> and/or membrane roof. <br /> (4)Alterations and additions. All subsequent additions and exterior alterations <br /> constructed after the erection of an original building (when the original building was <br /> constructed in conformance with this section) shall be constructed of materials <br /> comparable to those used in the original construction and shall be designed in a <br /> manner conforming to the original architectural design and general appearance. <br /> (5)Accessory structures. Architectural standards as outlined in this section shall also <br /> apply to accessory buildings, except that in the I1 and I2 districts where the accessory <br /> structure is not less than 250 feet from an existing residence, engineered fabric <br /> structures may be used as an acceptable material. <br /> (6) Buildings abutting street, residential or institutional use, or place of assembly. All <br /> portions or sides of buildings which abut a public street, a residential or institutional <br /> use or zone, or place of assembly such as a public park or recreational facility shall be <br /> constructed of materials on the list of exterior building finishes in subsection (2)b of <br /> this section. <br /> Architectural standards. Major exterior surfaces of all walls in the C-4 district shall be face brick, <br /> stone,glass, stucco, architecturally treated concrete,or decorative block, or an approved equivalent <br /> material as approved by the director of planning. <br /> 2 <br />
