The Conditional Use Permit is not a building permit and the applicant must apply for and receive <br /> approval of required building and sign permits before construction may begin. <br /> 2. The building shall meet all building and fire codes. <br /> 3. The applicant must apply for and receive approval of all required sign permits before signage may <br /> be installed. <br /> 4. The facility shall not be licensed for more than 120 children. <br /> 5. If the facility is to be licensed for more than 120 children, an amendment to the CUP will be <br /> required. <br /> Background/Discussion <br /> Dawn of Discovery is a childcare center that will serve families with children from the ages of 6 weeks to <br /> 12 years of age. The applicant would like to utilize the space that was previously occupied by another <br /> daycare center. No structural alterations inside or out will be made to the facility. <br /> Conditional Use Permits run in perpetuity with a site, unless the permitted use ceases to operate on the <br /> site for at least six months. This is what has happened with this property. <br /> Hours of Operation <br /> Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. <br /> Number of Employees <br /> The operation will have up to 20 employees including: management, teachers, assistant teachers, teacher <br /> aides, substitute teachers, and a cook. <br /> Number of Children <br /> The facility will be licensed for 116 children. <br /> Parking/Circulation <br /> There are two access points to the site off of Evans Street,which is a private drive. Parking for the <br /> proposed use,which is part of a multi-tenant facility which was established with the development of the <br /> property,is adequate. The site will see the heaviest traffic and parking needs early in the morning and <br /> late afternoon. <br /> N"ATUR <br />
