RECEIPT AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT (EMPLOYEE REFERENCE COPY) By signing this receipt, I acknowledge that I have received a copy of the Elk River Municipal Utilities Employee Handbook (the "Handbook"). This Handbook and the policies contained or referenced in the Handbook supersede and replace previously-issued handbooks, contrary oral or written statements of employment policy, and contrary employment practices. I understand that the Employee Handbook may be amended at any time, with or without notice. I understand that I do not have a protected property interest in my employment with the Utilities. I also understand that neither this Handbook nor any provision in it creates a contract of any kind between the Utilities and me. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to become and remain informed about the employment policies and practices of the Utilities and to abide by the rules, regulations, standards and policies of the Utilities, including those contained in this Handbook. I also understand that any violation by me of the Utilities' rules,regulations,policies,practices, or standards is just cause for discipline, up to and including termination of my employment.
