In the PSA-19, there <br /> remains a need for additional neighborhood park land. <br /> The Trails and Parkway Plan identifies a snowmobile trail running north- <br /> south along the Highway 169 corridor. <br /> Resolution No. 95-97 stipulates that 10% of the undeveloped land be <br /> dedicated to the city for parks, or a fee of$2,000 per acre be paid to the city in <br /> lieu of land for commercial properties. <br /> The site is poorly situated for a neighborhood park, therefore, staff <br /> recommends a cash dedication in lieu of land to satisfy the park dedication <br /> requirements. <br /> • Recommendation <br /> Staff recommends the Park and Recreation Commission recommend a fee of <br /> $2000 per acre in lieu of land. <br /> • <br /> \\elkriver\sys\shrdoc\planning\stevewen\parkmmo <br />
