Economic Development Authority Minutes Page 2 <br /> June 16,2014 <br /> 6.1 DEED Presentation <br /> Jim Gromberg, Metro Area Business Development Representative for the <br /> Department of Employment and Economic Developmentāpresented a PowerPoint <br /> outlining the Shovel Ready Certification Program and the Positively Minnesota <br /> marketing partnership. <br /> 6.2 Branding Plan <br /> Ms. Eddy presented the staff report. <br /> Discussion was held regarding budget and the process of selecting a winner.Also <br /> discussed were details about maintenance,location, criteria for evaluation,panel of <br /> evaluators, etc. Consensus of the EDA was they liked the concept but would like <br /> staff to define the parameters of the contest more clearly and bring back for <br /> consideration next month. <br /> 7.1 Economic Development/Housing Intern <br /> Ms. Eddy stated the City Council will be considering hiring an EDA/HRA <br /> marketing intern this evening. <br /> 8.
