Lee confirmed that the <br /> DNR has first rights of refusal of the property and is interested in preserving <br /> the natural amenities of the site. The DNR is also interested in some sort of <br /> City/ State cooperation involving future planning and acquisition. The DNR <br /> IIIwill be contacting the Commission in the future to update them on the DNR's <br /> plans and provide an opportunity to further discuss the issues. Also, the <br /> DNR has begun preliminary discussions regarding the relocation of the DNR <br /> Sand Dunes Gun Club in part to the St. Louis Park Gun Club location as well <br /> as to other private gun clubs. <br /> West Twin Lakes Community Park <br /> Ron Cox of the Anoka County Parks Department was contacted about any <br /> potential issues or concerns that Anoka County might have if the City located <br /> a future Community-Wide Park adjacent to the Twin Lakes County Park. <br /> According to Ron, the facilities would enhance the existing park facilities. <br /> Also, Anoka County has designated County Road 22 as a trail corridor that <br /> would extend all the way to Wyoming, Minnesota. <br /> III <br /> 13065 Orono Parkway • P.O.
