Alyssa and Jason Klein
12413 196th Circle NW
Elk River,Minnesota 55330
(763)241-1467
July 20, 2001
JUL232001
Elk River Parks Department
City of Elk River
248 Railroad Drive NW
Elk River, Minnesota 55330
To Whom it May Concern:
We are writing to request that something be done with the area next to our home, which has been
marked as a park boundary for a future trail. At this time it is unsightly-being that it is filled
with dirt and weeds. It would be best to have it paved, since there are many children that ride
through this area on their bikes as a"go through" between the Ridgewood and Lafayette Woods
developments. Unfortunately, when this area gets muddy, they tend to ride their bikes in our
yard.
However, if this is not a possibility, it would be nice to have black dirt laid and sod laid in this
•
area. We also would be more than happy to water and maintain it if this is what you choose to
do. Furthermore, if this is your choice, it would be imperative to put up a temporary boundary
around the sod so that the kids do not ride their bikes through it.
Thank you for your consideration. Please let us know what will happen with this.
Sincerely,
Alyssa and Jason Klein
