Summary:
We know that many departments within the city have been doing parts
of these elements until now. We know that those individuals have
done an excellent job.
The City of Elk River has and will continue to grow at a rapid rate.
Our acres of park land continue to grow as well.
We cannot service this important element of our community life efficiently, or
effectively with part-time focus by many departments. We need a single
department with a full-time focus for present and future Park& Recreational
needs.
