This property contains an
extensive stand of native prairie grasses and wildflowers,so it is planned to be used as a
passive city park.
The property has been used as a motion area for motorcyclists and ATV operators,
as well as a disposal site for others to dump their trash.
We are asking nearby residents to assist the City in preserving one of the finest
remaining stands of native grasses and wildflowers in the City, by please notifying City
Hall at 441-7420 if you observe any dumping or illegal use of motor vehicles in the park.
Thank you in advance for your assistance in preserving this natural resource.
Sincerely,
Philip E. Hals
Street/Park Superintendent
smo: file
•
