I Iousing and Redevelopment Minutes Page 3 <br /> May 3,21114 <br /> Commissioner Motin stated he preferred there he no income restriction and felt the <br /> more property owners that participated, the better. <br /> Commissioner Chuba stated that he did not feel the S89,0()0 income was too <br /> restrictive. (;ommissioner Kuester stated she did not feel the HRA should hold off <br /> on getting the program jump-started. Commissioner Chuba agreed and stated that <br /> the HRA will find out when people apply whether or not the income limit is too <br /> restrictive. <br /> Discussion followed regarding starting the program with the existing income <br /> restriction and also proceed with the process to obtain the required approvals for a <br /> program with no income restrictions. Commissioner Kuester suggested the two <br /> programs could be merged when the proper steps have been taken. <br /> Motion by Commissioner Chuba and seconded by Commissioner Kuester to <br /> approve Resolution 14-02, a Resolution Approving Housing Rehabilitation <br /> Loan Program. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> Motion by Commissioner Motin and seconded by Commissioner Kuester to <br /> recommend the City Council call a public hearing for July 7, 2014 to consider <br /> a redevelopment plan without income restrictions. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> Motion by Commissioner Motin and seconded by Commissioner Chuba to <br /> recommend approval of a budget amendment to transfer funds in the amount <br /> of$100,000 from the HRA fund balance to the HRA contractual services line <br /> item. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> 8. Announcements - None <br /> 9.
