I will make sure to include in my staff report for the Commission meeting that the Lions did vote for the new name, as was discussed last month. We have published in the local paper that the renaming is on the agenda for June 11. It is an action item on the Parks Commission agenda. I do recommend that the Lions have a representative at the June meeting,but you probably don't need to have all of the similar members that attended in May. If the Parks Commission recommends the renaming, that will likely move forward ton City Council meeting in July for final approval.
