City of <br /> Elk <br /> River <br /> Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its <br /> adoption: <br /> Resolution 14- <br /> A Resolution of the City of Elk River Acknowledging Contributions <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and <br /> individuals for their contributions to the community;and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $9,950 donation from Midwest Landscapes <br /> for up to 20 trees with the intent it be used by the Parks and Recreation Department for <br /> park improvements. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council,by at least four-fifths <br /> vote,to acknowledge the support and commend Midwest Landscapes for their donation. <br /> The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon,the following voted in favor thereof- <br /> and the following against: ,whereupon said <br /> resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> The following members were present: <br /> and the following absent: <br /> Passed and adopted this 16"'day of June 2014. <br /> John J.
