ELK RIV R MUNICIPAL UTILITIES EDUCATION I SEMINAR REPORT <br /> DATE 5/9/20 4 <br /> EMPLOYEE NAME Dolores Andreasen <br /> TITLE OF EDUCA ION!SEMINAR 2014 Minici-pals Spring Workshop <br /> ORGANIZATION S ONSORING EDUCATION SEMINAR Muni-Pals <br /> DATES ATTENDE 1 Friday, May 2, 2014 <br /> LOCATION Eagan Community Center <br /> WHY DID EMPLO EE CHOOSE TO ATTEND I've attended 2 workshops previously and they have <br /> always been extre ely informative and entertaining. <br /> WHAT INFORMATI•N WAS LEARNED BY ATTENDING This particular workshop had a presentation <br /> on PERA and it was very informative for me since I just got done filling out my PERA paperwork and it <br /> was good to know I lied it out correctly. There was also a presentation on financial health and <br /> retirement 101 whic I think is very helpful for the young workers in companies to learn about and to <br /> reiterate that betwe: my husband and I,we've done a good job preparing for our retirement years. <br /> The other presentat on that was so entertaining was done by Stevie Ray, a master entertainer and also <br /> a keynote speaker -nd corporate trainer and he was so entertaining talking about changes in the work- <br /> place and not swea ling the small stuff and how to be more productive in your work environment and to <br /> also try to connect •ersonally with co-workers which will flow into a better working environment. <br /> WAS INFORMATI•N CONVEYED TO SUPERVISOR AND CO-WORKERS AND TO WHO <br /> We all discussed th workshop for several days afterwards with co-workers that attended and also with <br /> those that didn't att=nd and talked about how enlightening the workshop was. <br /> SI N URE <br /> 141 <br />
