data was available because there are no other metro cities with a population of 10,000 to <br />25,000 (class 6 cities) that employ a prosecuting attorney, or any attorney. The Committee <br />did review pay rates for similar attorneys in Anoka and Sherburne Counties and Oakdale. <br />Finally, the Committee looked at the city's internal position and pay structure and the need <br />to fit this position in while still maintaining the integrity of the system. <br /> <br />In conclusion, after carefully considering all of the information, the Personnel Committee is <br />recommending that the City Prosecutor position be placed at pay grade 8E. (The top step of <br />pay grade 8E is $67,200.39 per year for 2001 and $69,216.40 in 2002 ifa 3 percent COLA is <br />approved.) The Committee further recommends that the position be reviewed within one <br />year to determine a point value based on actual duties and, if necessary, that the pay grade be <br />adjusted accordingly. <br /> <br /> <br />
