PLEASE NOTE: THESE MINUTES ARE IN DRAFT FORM AND ARE NOT TO BE <br />PUBLISHED IN ANY MANNER UNTIL THEY ARE APPROVED BY THE <br />SHERBURNE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS. <br /> <br />18. <br /> <br />Discussion was held regarding the request for Final Residential Standard Plat approval of <br />"WHITETAIL BAY SECOND". <br /> <br />Friedl/Nagorski unanimous to approve the Final Residential Standard Plat of <br />"'ArHITETAIL BAY SECOND" consisting of 9 Lots: Legal: NE1/4 of NE1/4 Sec <br />23, Twp 35, Rge 26 Baldwin Township 40 acres General Rural District, as requested <br />by C R Development, as recommended by the Planning Commission with the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br /> <br />Park dedication fees are paid at $600.00 per lot; <br />Covenants reflect a buffer will be established within 50' of the wetland; <br />Permanent PipMine markers are installed. <br /> <br />19. <br /> <br />Discussion was held regarding Buildability Guidelines. Comments were heard from John <br />Norgren. <br /> <br />Leonard/Friedl to schedule a Public Hearing at the County Board Meeting of October 9th <br />at 10:00 a.m. regarding building separation from mottled soil in cluster developments. <br />Motion carried with Commissioner Nagorski voting naye. <br /> <br />20. Discussion was held regarding the 10% Market Adjustment for Technical Employees. <br /> <br />Leonard/Friedl unanimous to discontinue the 10% market adjustment for any new <br />technical employees in the Public Works department or for employees changing <br />classification in the future, effective September 4, 2001. The Board also directed staff to <br />adjust the salary schedule. <br /> <br />Discussion was held regarding portable signs in the Right-of-Way. <br /> <br />The Board directed staff to write a letter to all realtors and developers informing them <br />that State Law does not allow for signs to be displayed in the road Right of Way.- <br /> <br />The Chair declared a recess at 10:28 a.m. and reconvened the meeting at 10:4t a.m. <br /> <br />22. <br /> <br />Alex Wikstrom, Economic Development/Budget Coordinator, presented the Economic <br />Development report for August 2001. The Board agreed by unanimous consent to accept <br />the August 2001 Economic Development report as presented. <br /> <br />23. <br /> <br />Brian Bensen, Administrator, was present to discuss the preliminary levy.
