Other Equipment Repairs and Upgrades <br /> Maple Lake-Edit system rewired,new battery backup for the playback equipment,new raid <br /> drive for Leightronix Ultra Nexus playback. We also moved the equipment so that painting and <br /> carpeting could be done in city hall. <br /> Elk River-New raid drive for Leightronix Ultra Nexus playback,re-wired and installed software <br /> upgrades in edit system A,added speakers in the council chambers,added an audio feed to the <br /> over flow council chambers meeting room,upgraded the playback rack, started install of the <br /> council chambers media feed,service for both the Extron Scan Converter and Video Scaler <br /> located in their control room. <br /> A new HD ready rack mount monitor was installed in their control room for the cable TV feed <br /> and for future HD connections. <br /> Rockford-TriCaster repaired,new memory installed. Rockford staff discovered the TriCaster <br /> crashed 2 hours before the council meeting. AV Solutions of Minneapolis graciously provided an <br /> emergency backup unit at no charge and even delivered it to me in Wayzata!I installed it with <br /> help from Rockford staff and they were able to cover the meeting with no further problems. <br /> Their original unit had memory failure. We have seen this happen in several units as they have <br /> aged. <br /> Big Lake-We installed a new monitor in their council chambers to display their Sympodium and <br /> presentation feed and added a special HDMI converter and RF/cable TV connection. A new raid <br /> drive was also installed for the Leightronix Ultra Nexus. We also needed to repair the network <br /> router that feeds the equipment in the council chambers. <br /> Cokato-A new HD ready rack mount monitor was installed in their control room for the cable <br /> TV feed and for future HD connections. We also worked on their network switch while updating <br /> their Leightronix and Scala equipment and software. We still are trying to provide remote access <br /> to their playback system and have had multiple phone meetings with their contract IT service. <br /> Monticello-We installed a new Sympodium workstation and software in their main presentation <br /> podium. We also had several service calls for severe power outages in their council chambers <br /> and control room. A new battery backup system was installed when we added the new Scala and <br /> Ultra Nexus workstations. We also added a new raid drive to the Ultra Nexus and a new rack <br /> mount monitor was installed in their control room for the cable TV feed and for future HD <br /> connections. Repairs were also made to their meeting room AV cable snakes. <br /> Delano-We had continuing problems with the Nexus login and raid drive. All the problems were <br /> corrected once we installed the new Nexus workstation. Cable and connector repairs were <br /> needed for their Extron Scaler audience monitor feed. We also replaced their UPS with a bigger <br /> battery backup system.Two new rack mount HD ready monitors were added to their playback <br /> 2 <br />
