Sherburne Wright Cable Commission <br /> Meeting Minutes from 01-16-14 <br /> Page 2 of 2 <br /> 7. Commission Business <br /> 7a. Election of Chair to Replace Luke Fischer Resignation <br /> Members discussed the need to appoint a new chair with the departure of former Chair <br /> Luke Fisher. <br /> Commissioner Kern motioned to nominate Tina Allard as Chair of the Sherburne <br /> Wright Cable Commission. Seconded by Commissioner Auger, unanimous ayes, <br /> motion carried. <br /> Commissioner Auger motioned to nominate Phil Kern as Vice Chair of the Sherburne <br /> Wright Cable Commission. Seconded by Commissioner Carswell, unanimous ayes, <br /> motion carried. <br /> 7b. Employee Committee Report -Tina Allard <br /> The Employee Committee met in early January and conducted an annual employment <br /> review for Video Production Coordinator Mark Davis and to set employee goals for 2014. <br /> Commissioner Carswell motioned to approve a 3% wage increase for Mark Davis <br /> effective the first pay period of 2014. Seconded by Commissioner Hruby, unanimous <br /> ayes, motion carried. <br /> Commissioner Kern motioned to appoint Commissioners Wolbeck and Yager to the <br /> Employee Committee. Seconded by Commissioner Carswell, unanimous ayes, motion <br /> carried. <br /> 7c. Movie in the Park Date Selection <br /> Movie dates were set for interested communities for 2014. <br /> 7d. Other Business <br /> Board Members discussed the need to hold quarterly meetings on scheduled dates. The <br /> Commission meetings will be held the 1St Thursday in the months of January, April,July, <br /> and October. <br /> Board Members wished Nancy Carswell and Linda Hruby well on their upcoming <br /> retirements and thanked them for their years of service on the Commission. <br /> 8. Upcoming Meeting Dates <br /> The next Commission meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the City of <br /> Maple Lake. The July 3`d Commission meeting will be held in Watertown and the October <br /> 2' Commission meeting will be held in Cokato. <br /> 9.
