However, sustainable communities recognize that community <br />development is not simply about increasing the financial resources <br />of the community; it is not simply about promoting businesses and <br />industries that will create more products and deliver more services <br />without regard to the natural and social environments; nor is it simply <br />about increasing the financial wealth of individuals.
