We went to <br /> market for this position and received 207 applications. The pool of applicants was narrowed to 17 who <br /> were invited to interview, 15 of which accepted. We had a very impressive pool of candidates and a <br /> second round of interviews was held with 7 of the candidates. <br /> Following this process, a complete background check, and pre-employment screening,we would like to <br /> recommend Kristofer Paulseth for the position of park maintenance worker. Mr. Paulseth holds a degree <br /> in biology/environmental studies and has a variety of work and volunteer experience including working <br /> with Anoka County Parks,the MN Department of Natural Resources, and MN Conservation Corps. He <br /> has also worked as a carpenter and spent time in the north woods of Minnesota building trails and doing <br /> a forest-wide tree identification project. <br /> Financial Impact <br /> This is a budgeted position. Mr. Paulseth will start at step A of pay grade 6.
