RESOLUTION 04- <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING PREMISES PERMIT RENEWAL FOR <br /> THE ELK RIVER YOUTH HOCKEY ASSOCIATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />The Elk River Youth Hockey Association has made <br />application to the State Gambling Control Board for a <br />Premises Permit Renewal; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Premises Permit will allow charitable gambling on the <br />premises of Mitch Miller's Olde Town Tavern located at 651 <br />Main Street in the City of Elk River for the period of July 1, <br />2004 to June 30, 2006; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />The Elk River Youth Hockey Association has met the city's <br />requirement of spending 75 percent of its lawful <br />expenditures within the city's trade area during the past two <br />years. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Elk River, Minnesota that a Premises Permit be granted to The Elk River <br />Youth Hockey Association to allow charitable gambling operations at Mitch <br />Miller's Olde Town Tavern located at 651 Main Street in the City of Elk <br />River, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted this 23rd day of February 2004. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Stephanie Klinzing, Mayor <br /> <br />Joan Schmidt, City Clerk <br /> <br />S:\Council\Joan\Gambling\PremPermYouthHockcy.doc <br /> <br /> <br />
