The permit will run for two years from August <br />1, 2004 until July 31, 2006. <br /> <br />APPLICANT <br />Elk's Quarterback Club <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City's ordinance requires that 75% of the lawful purpose expenditures must be spent <br />within the City's trade area. The trade area for Elk River includes the cities of Elk River, <br />Ramsey, Otsego, Rogers, and Zimmerman. The attached chart shows that the amount of <br />expenditures spent in the trade area during the years 2002 and 2003 exceeded the required <br />75%. <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED <br />A motion from Council adopting the attached resolution approving a premises permit for <br />the Elk's Quarterback Club to conduct lawful charitable gambling at Time Out Sports Bar. <br /> <br /> <br />
