Applicant must contact Police Captain Ron Nierenhausen <br /> (763.635.1202) at least three weeks prior to event to arrange for <br /> police reserves. <br /> 4.4 Temporary on-sale liquor license to the Elk River Rotary Club for the <br /> Taste of Elk River on May 15, 2014. <br /> 4.5 Retail sales/storage of fireworks permit for Jerry's Enterprises dba <br /> Cub Foods,valid until April 9, 2015, with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Two (2) fire extinguishers must be placed near the area of the <br /> fireworks display. One (1) extinguisher must be a water-based <br /> pressurized extinguisher. <br /> 2. The Fire Department must conduct an inspection of the <br /> fireworks display prior to firework sales. Applicant is <br /> responsible for contacting the fire marshal for an inspection at <br /> 763.635.1110 after the fireworks display is set up. <br /> 4.6 Massage therapist license to Elisabeth Turner to work at Avalon Salon, <br /> valid until December 31, 2014. <br /> 4.7 Resolution 14-10 acknowledging contributions from the Zimmerman <br /> Fire Relief Association. <br /> 4.8 Assign Chris Teff as lead maintenance operator in the Streets Division <br /> beginning at step C of pay grade 7, effective March 7, 2014. <br /> Motion carried 5-0. <br /> S. Open Forum <br /> No one appeared for Open Forum. <br /> 6.1 City of Elk River Volunteer of the Month — Mayor Dietz <br /> Mayor Dietz introduced, read, and presented a plaque to Esmeralda Langbehn, <br /> March Volunteer of the Month.
