GENERAL INFORMATION CONCERNING THE CITY <br /> The Bonds are special obligations of the City payable solely from net revenues of the <br /> City's electric system and shall not constitute a debt for which the full faith and credit or <br /> taxing powers of the City will be pledged. The following information concerning the City <br /> is provided for informational purposes only and not as a representation of security for <br /> the Bonds. <br /> General Information <br /> The City is the Sherburne County seat and is located approximately 30 miles northwest of the <br /> Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. City residents are served by the Anoka County/Blaine Airport, St. Cloud Regional <br /> Airport, and the Minneapolis/St. Paul Regional Airport. Rail service is provided by Burlington <br /> Northern Santa Fe Railroad and the Northstar Commuter Rail, which has a station located in the <br /> City and provides a convenient connection to downtown Minneapolis and other communities <br /> throughout the region. Bus services are provided to City residents by Northstar Link Commuter <br /> Bus, Speco Charter Services, Vision of Elk River, and RiverRider. The Sherburne County <br /> Veteran's Office also coordinates a transportation program, Sherburne County VA Medical <br /> Center Transportation, which provides veterans transportation to the Minneapolis and St. Cloud <br /> VA Medical Centers free of charge. <br /> - 25 - <br /> 106 <br />
