City of Becker <br />Mission Statement <br /> <br />Becker is a growing city ideally located between the Twin Cities metrol~olitan <br />area and the northern Minnesota lake region. Through the efforts of the City, <br />our schools, and involved citizens, we strive to meet the educational and social <br />needs of all residents with special consideration to the development of our <br />young people. We prudently manage our resources and provide the highest <br />quality of service to our residents. The community is proud to have maintained <br />the character of a small town but continues to look towards the future. <br /> <br />We believe these qualities provide the perfect environment for continued growth <br />and future diversity oft he City's commercial, industrial, and residential tax <br />base. We are determined to promote development and enhance basic services <br />to benefit all age groups. We intend to provide a variety of desirable scenarios <br />to meet the physical, educational, and recreational needs of present and future <br />generations. <br /> <br /> <br />
