(1) <br /> <br />Determine future service needs of the citizens of <br />Becker. <br /> <br />NOTE: It was decided to defer this issue to Cindy so that <br /> further definition and clarification could be brought <br /> to the goal and the means by which it could be <br /> achieved so the city can define and anticipate <br /> projected future service needs of its citizens as the <br /> basis for planning how the city might address the <br /> provision of these services in the future. <br /> <br />E. Discussion Pertaining to Clubhouse Issues <br /> <br />The participants discussed an approach for addressing, analyzing, and <br />resolving the short-term clubhouse expansion/renovation issues before the <br />council. Specific direction was established on how the council wishes to <br />proceed with addressing this issue. <br /> <br />F. LCD Message Sign Along Highway 10 <br /> <br />Council discussed this issue and provided specific direction to the <br />administration on how it wishes to proceed relative to this matter. <br /> <br />III. REQUIRED FOLLOW-UP ACTIVITIES <br /> <br />The city administration will provide a review of the issues and goals to <br />ensure accuracy and clarity of their wording. Also to be provided will be <br />specific action plans to be used in pursuit of each goal during 2002 and <br />2003. <br /> <br />The goals should be adopted by the council as an official policy statement <br />of council priorities for the City of Becker. <br /> <br />Co <br /> <br />The goals and supporting action plans need to be communicated widely <br />throughout the community as evidence of the council's proactive <br />leadership stance relative to the growth issue. <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br /> <br />
