CITY OF PLYMOUTH <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION 2003-130 <br />AFFIRMING CITY COUNCIL GOALS AND PRIORITIES <br />FOR 2003 AND 2004 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Plymouth City Council that the following goals and priorities <br />established at the February 18 special meeting are hereby affirmed: <br /> <br />· Implement Public Safety Initiatives <br /> <br /> c> Staffing <br /> o Building <br /> c> Equipment <br /> o Training <br /> o Homeland security issues <br />· Prepare for Financial Independence <br /> c> Implement measures to mitigate state budget cutbacks <br /> c> Review staffing needs <br />· Consider funding for roads and infrastructure <br />· Review City Center Plan and explore opportunities for additional housing or mixed use <br /> projects in the area <br />· Continue and evaluate Traffic Calming Program <br />· Increase water supply capacity and consider drinking water taste/quality improvements <br />· Consider acquisition options for 10th Playfield site and open space <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following items are established as priorities for <br />continued emphasis: <br /> <br />· Consider conducting Citizen Survey <br />· Partner with HRA on housing initiatives <br />· Review finishing lower level of Plymouth Creek Center <br />· Continue e-government initiatives <br />· Consider new environmental initiatives <br />· Continue to support opt-out transit and transit opportunities <br /> <br />Adopted by the Plymouth City Council on March 11, 2003. <br /> <br /> <br />
