The outdoor pool
shows significant support by area residents and should be
considered a moderate to high priority.
An interpretive center, located at Woodland Trails Park, is a
facility that would greatly expand the recreational and
educational value of the Park. The interpretive center is a
moderate to low priority.
Although golf is increasing in popularity and is an important
recreation activity, this need in the City of Elk River is being
adequately met by the privately owned courses that are open to
the public.
