2003 Park Projects for Spring <br /> 1. Check all playgrounds. <br /> 2. Put up volleyball nets(Orono Park-3), (Ridgewood East-1), (Deerfield 4th-1), <br /> (Barrington-1). <br /> 3. Check all basketball nets, (Moldenhaur-2), (Lion's-4), (Ridgewood East-1), (Deerfield <br /> 4th-1), (Barrington-1), (Country Crossing-2), (Riverplace-2). <br /> 4. Put up basketball standard at Ridgewood East. <br /> 5. Seed bad spots around soccer goals in Oak Knoll. <br /> 6. Put up soccer nets at Oak Knoll. <br /> 7. Line soccer fields at Oak Knoll. <br /> 8. Put in boat dock at Orono Park. <br /> 9. Check and place garbage cans in all parks. <br /> 10. Check and place picnic tables in all parks. <br /> 11. Check bleachers at Oak Knoll, Orono,Kuss, and YAC ball fields. <br /> 12. Prepare all flowerbeds (remove straw and weeds). <br /> 13. Take down hockey boards at Handke Pit, and at Lions Park <br /> 14. Fertilize all parks. <br /> 15. Aerate Orono, Oak Knoll, and YAC ball fields. <br /> 16. Start up irrigation systems (Library,Emporium,Northbound Liquor,Depot site,EDA <br /> site,Jackson Square,large downtown parking lot,Fire station, Chamber office, <br /> concession stand at Orono Ball fields, Orono softball complex, Orono Park,Kuss field, <br /> Oak Knoll Fields,Youth Athletic Complex, Lion's Park,Ice Arena, Tyler Street, and <br /> Vanity Field). <br /> 17. Finish aglime on infields and warning track at YAC fields 5 and 6. <br /> 18. Install water line from BMX track well to YAC concession stand. <br /> 19. Check and prune all boulevard trees as needed. <br /> 20. Check out fishing pier and ramp down to pier. <br /> 21. Hookup drinking fountain at YAC. <br /> 22. Install distance markers for Oak Knoll and YAC fields. <br /> 23. Hookup drinking fountains in Lion's Park <br /> 24. Order toilets needed for parks and athletic fields. <br /> 25. Check all payphones, (Orono Park,Woodland trails, Oak Knoll). <br /> 26. Install park identification signs. <br /> 27. Remove snow fence from Deerfield Hill Park and landscape around playground. <br /> 28. Install basketball standards at Riverplace Park <br /> 29. Finish Hillside parking and picnic area. <br /> 30. Pedestrian bridge landscaping. <br /> 31. Scott Breuer Construction to build YAC concession stand. <br /> 32. Trott Brook Barn- siding,and interior finish work <br /> 33.
