The corridors were the subject of a Corridor man- hway studies agement plan (CMP) Because they were identi- fied as being at risk of not meeting Mn/DOT perform- ance objectives relating to things like number of acci- dents and average travel speed. The CMPs for both the Highway 101/169 and the Highway 10 corridors will be presented at a public information meeting Monday, July 8. Businesses and residents who may be affected by changes to the ~ransporta- ~ion routes are invited to the meeting to give input on plans being considered. The meeting Will' be in the Elk River City Council chambers at City Hall. The Highway 101/169 CMP ,will be presented at 7 p.m., and the Highway 10 CMP will be presented ac 8 p.m. The presentation on each plan will be made by the consulting engineering firm and Mn/DOT. A question- and-answer period will fol- low the presentations. City's highways to be discussed Elk River City Council has scheduled an informa- tional meeting on the Highway 101/169 and Highway 10 transportation comdor management plans. The meeting, set for 7 p.m. July 8 at the Elk River City Council chambers, will feature presentations by the proJect's consulting engineering firms and the Minnesota Department of Transportation The 101/169 corridor presentation will begin at 7 p.m.. and the Highway 10 presentation is scheduled for 8 p.m. The council is looking for feedback from Elk River citizens and business own- ers on the ~mpact of the plans and recommenda- tions for changes.
