Reduce environmental costs associated with shipping goods to local supermarkets by <br /> encouraging the development and use of local food resources and by educating local retailers on <br /> alternatives. <br /> Highest Priority Actions: <br /> 1. Complete a new Active Transportation Master Plan. <br /> 2. Improve pedestrian safety. <br /> 3. Support transportation and active transportation planning. <br /> 4. Pursue the development and installation of a bike-sharing program. <br /> 5. Periodically survey residents to determine miles traveled to work. <br /> GOAL 5 -GREEN SPACE <br /> Targets: <br /> A. All residents live within a 5 minute walk to green space by 2024. <br /> B. Identify prime vegetative communities (woodland stands.
