• <br /> CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> REGARDING EXTENDING TIME FOR MEETING WAGE AND JOB <br /> GOALS UNDER THE TAX ABATEMENT AND BUSINESS SUBSIDY AGREEMENT <br /> FOR THE BANK OF ELK RIVER EXPANSION PROJECT <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota <br /> (the "City"), will hold a public hearing at a meeting of the City Council beginning at 6:30 p.m., <br /> on Monday, December 21, 2009, to be held at City Hall, Elk River, Minnesota, on the request of <br /> The Bank of Elk River (the "Company") that the City grant a two-year extension of time to the <br /> Company, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 116J.994, Subdivision 6, in order for them to <br /> meet the wage and job goals set forth in that certain Tax Abatement and Business Subsidy <br /> Agreement (the "Agreement") entered into between the City and the Developer on April 17, <br /> 2006. The City Council will consider granting an extension of time to the Company so it can <br /> meet its goals. <br /> The Agreement is on file and of record at the office of the Director of the Economic <br /> Development Authority at the City Hall during regular business hours. <br /> • All interested persons may appear at the December 21st public hearing and present their <br /> views orally or in writing.
