The pay <br /> adjustments would be considered at a future meeting in December. <br /> Moved by Councilmember Burandt and seconded by Councilmember <br /> Westgaard to approve the Fire Department On-Call Captain and Lieutenant <br /> Position Descriptions as outlined in the staff report. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> S. Open Forum <br /> No one appeared for Open Forum. <br /> 6.1 City of Elk River Volunteer of the Month — Mayor Dietz <br /> Mayor Dietz introduced,read,and presented a plaque to Jean Becklin,Volunteer of the <br /> Month for October. He noted the following volunteering accomplishments: <br /> ■ CAER Food Shelf <br /> ■ Bib-making for Little Lambs Daycare <br /> ■ Lutheran World Relief volunteer <br /> ■ Meals on Wheels <br /> ■ Cancer Crusade <br /> ■ Cap and mitten-maker for the 2013 Christmas tree <br /> ■ Yearly provider of Duane Becklin Memorial high school scholarship award <br /> 6.3 Proclamation Announcing Minnesota Manufacturers Week <br /> Ms. Knoof presented the staff report requesting the Council proclaim the week of <br /> October 21 —25, 2013, as Minnesota Manufacturers Week. <br /> Moved by Councilmember Burandt and seconded by Councilmember Motin <br /> to proclaim October 21—25, 2013, as Minnesota Manufacturers Week.
