Revised site plans prepared by a registered engineer illustrating required parking, curbing,islands, <br /> drainage sign location, and lighting plan to comply with city ordinances. <br /> 2. Submittal of a landscape plan,prepared by a landscape architect,which meets all requirements as <br /> outlined in city ordinances. <br /> Staff recommends action be continued, due to not receiving revised drawings prior to preparation of the staff <br /> report. The City Council may continue action on the item,approve, approve with conditions, or deny. <br /> Background <br /> Keith Steies seeks approval to operate a car dealership on the property. The CUP for the previous use, <br /> RV sales, expired in January of 2013 requiring a new CUP. <br /> Planning Commission <br /> The Planning Commission asked if the applicant has made an attempt to complete required documents. <br /> Staff stated that the applicant had recently hired a consultant to complete the required plans. The <br /> Planning Commission felt that moving the project along helped the business and offered more flexibility <br /> with timing. <br /> Public Hearing <br /> The applicant spoke during the public hearing, describing the project in further detail and affirming his <br /> desire to work with the city.
