ITEM 10—A"ILABILITY FOR PUBLIC USE <br /> This grant program makes use of public funds to assist communities with park projects. <br /> Therefore, all facilities within the park must be designed and available for general public use and <br /> open during typical park hours. This includes restrooms, picnic shelters, campgrounds, <br /> playgrounds and other structures. For parks that include marina or campground facilities, a <br /> minimum of 50% of the berths/campground spaces must be available for short-term rental and an <br /> equitable method of allocating long-term rentals shall be used. No fixed improvements such as <br /> decks, porches, or signs are allowed. <br /> State the specific hours of operation and any current or anticipated pro g d use for the <br /> facilities proposed to be funded with this application. Saying the par 1 be open during normal <br /> park hours is not specific. Also describe any arrangements with to izations, clubs or city <br /> programs for the use of the facilities. Explain how this may imp faci ailability to the <br /> general public. <br /> Describe what fees, if any, will be charged for use of t ark facilities and/or a he <br /> regional park? <br /> The site, and its associated facilities, will be open daily fo blic use from 6:00 a.m. until <br /> 10:00 p.m. as per the City Park Ordinances. There are no ca ounds planned for the site and <br /> visitation will be limited to day use.
