Facility Scheduling: Maintain a schedule of use for all City owned facilities. This includes softball/baseball fields, Community rooms, park shelters, park buildings and meeting rooms. Special Events: Plan and implement annual community events working with a local busi- nesses, non-profit groups, PTAs, athletic associations and residents at large. Communications: Responsible for publishing bi-monthly newsletters for distribution to 5,000 residents. Publication includes writing articles, editing articles submitted by staff members and desk top publishing all materials into a camera-ready brochure. Also included is the development of marketing pamphlets, flyers and small brochures throughout the year in addi- tion to press releases and advertisement copy in local newspapers. Community Liaison: Facilitate activities of local community groups such as the athletic associations, community theater, and volunteer committees.
