Motion carried 5-0. <br /> 8.1 Northstar Rail-Leigh Lenzmeier <br /> Northstar Rail Development Authority representatives Leigh Lenzmeier and Jill <br /> Brown provided an update on the Northstar Rail project. <br /> 8.2 Twin Lakes Road Beautification Project <br /> Mr. Carlton presented the staff report. <br /> Moved by Councilmember Westgaard and seconded by Councilmember <br /> Burandt to approve the proposed landscape plans and authorize the <br /> advertisement for bids for the Twin Lakes Road beautification project. <br /> Motion carried 5-0. <br /> 8.3 Discuss Allowed Pool Barrier Types <br /> Mr. Barnhart presented the staff report. <br /> Consensus of the Council was for staff to bring back an ordinance amendment <br /> allowing pool covers meeting ASTM standards as an acceptable barrier in lieu of <br /> fencing. <br /> 8.4 MnDOT Corridors of Commerce Solicitation <br /> Mr. Femrite presented the staff report. <br /> Moved by Councilmember Motin and seconded by Councilmember Wilson to <br /> authorize staff to submit projects for consideration of funding through the MnDOT <br /> Corridors of Commerce program. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> 8.5 Discuss Work Session Items <br /> Mr. Portner presented the staff report. <br /> 9.
