Call Meeting to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River City Council <br /> was called to order at 6:56 p.m. by Mayor Dietz. <br /> 2. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> Mayor Dietz indicated long-time city employee Case Hayward passed away and asked <br /> for a moment of silence in Case's honor. <br /> 3. Consider 10/07/2013 Agenda <br /> Moved by Councilmember Westgaard and seconded by Councilmember <br /> Motin to approve the October 7, 2013, agenda. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> 4. Consider Consent Agenda <br /> Councilmember Motin pulled item 4.5. from the consent agenda. <br /> Moved by Councilmember Wilson and seconded by Councilmember <br /> Westgaard to approve the following consent agenda: <br /> 4.1 September 16, 2013, Regular Council Minutes. <br /> 4.2 Check Register as outlined in the staff report. <br /> 4.3 Concessions Agreement for Ice Arena. <br /> 4.4 Hire Marcy Bodin as part-time office assistant for the Street Division <br /> beginning at pay grade 3, Step A, effective October 8, 2013 <br />
