The Wastewater <br /> budget will be reviewed in October as the facility improvement plan is being updated and we are awaiting <br /> some grant notifications expected at the end of the month. <br /> Enterprise Funds: <br /> Garbage—This fund accounts for the garbage collection service for the city and the city-wide organics <br /> program. Until last year,the recycling budget ran the clean-up day event with a transfer from the Landfill <br /> Fund to offset. That is now run out of the landfill budget. <br /> No rate increase is recommended for the 2014 budget. Grant revenue is down since it was a one-time <br /> start up grant for the organics program. The Personal Services line item decreases due to reallocation of <br /> staff time and the unfilled environmental tech position is not in the proposed 2014 budget. The <br /> Contractual Services line item is updated yearly based on customer container choices and new customers.
